The Aristocrat Collection was inspired by the works of

Charles Jacqueau (1885-1969).

Charles was born in Paris and was the son of a master butcher from Morvan. He was employed by Louis Cartier as a master jeweler and is often referred to as one of the pioneers of Art Deco Style.

A well known documented fact about Louis Cartier is he insisted that his master craftsman remained totally anonymous.

Charles created many of pieces Cartier featured during the early Art Deco period.
